The Happiest Place on Earth

We had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas and Disneyland this past spring break with our friends. Lucas, Shanae, Mark, and I had a blast together on this trip. We started out the adventure in Las Vegas.

We stayed in the hotel Circus Circus and hung out downtown Las Vegas for a couple of nights. When Lucas went to check us into the hotel he ended up checking in behind Nicholas Cage. How cool is that?? He had tried texting us to tell us to come over to see him but we had missed it.
While we were there they all went out to play some craps. Unfortunately I'm not 21 so I had to stay in the hotel room while they went off together. I painted my nails, watched Say Yes to the Dress, took long bubble baths, and went to bed early...it ended up not being so bad. The first night they got back to the hotel, Mark woke me up by throwing a bunch of hundreds on me. At first I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. He had won $550.00 dollars. Not too bad for starting with $50.00! (It was all extra money that he was playing with btw) The next day we went to the Wax Museum, M&M World, the Coca Cola place, and to this yummy restaurant called "Firefly."

(Mark and Lucas surprised Shanae and I with a nice water massage. It was the best!!)

After Vegas we continued on to Anihiem California where the happiest place on Earth is located. That's right, we went to DISNEYLAND!!! We spent one day there and one day in California Adventure. It was a blast!

( Look what our cute boys surprised us with!! :))

(Did I say cute in the last sentence.... well.... haha )

While we were in Disneyland we ran into Matthew and Jessica Jeppson on their honeymoon. It was great to see the adorable new married couple, especially since we didn't make it to their wedding. We all went on Splash Mountain together and this is the picture from it.....

(This was the World of Color... the BEST show I've ever seen. Those colors are all shown on water to music, they even played parts of disney shows projected onto a wave of water. It was incredible)!!

We decided to go to the San Diego Temple to do sealings on the last day. None of us had ever been and it was BEAUTIFUL! I'm so grateful that we had the opportunity to go. After the temple we went to the beach (even though it was freezing) and then went to Red Lobster. It was such a great day.

(Sorry for the photo essay)

Well there you have it! That was our amazing Spring Break Vacation in a nutshell. I'm so glad we all went!! :)
