When I first moved to Laramie I was not a huge fan. I did not know anyone and I had moved far away from what I was used to. It didn't take long for us to meet some people who became our closest friends and helped me begin to love Laramie. I am so grateful for all of them in our life!
We first met the Grants-- Lucas, Shanae, Connor, and Carson. They became some of our closest friends. Between our everyday hang outs, game/halo nights, Disneyland Adventure, etc.. we have had more than our fair share of good times together. We have been there for each other through everything. They just had to go and leave us in May of this year. Needless to say we are missing them a lot!
Then we met the Wilson Family; Jef, Jourdan, Boston, and Scarlett. I do not have nearly as many pictures with them as I do with the Grants, but we still had just as many good times together. We played all sorts of games, had Twilight marathons, worked out together, etc.. They also have been some of our closest friends. They went and left us in May 2014 after graduation. I miss them like crazy as well. I wish we all lived closer to each other. :(
Next we have the Lintz Family. Weston, Valerie, and Chipper. It is actually a funny story how we met them. Valerie and I had a class together at the university. During an activity our teacher told us to pair up with someone, and we were the only two who didn't have a partner. As we were working on our assignment we got talking and figured out that we were both LDS. Then our husbands met and connected over sports (of course). We have had a lot of great times with them as well. They are huge Braves Fans like we are so we have made two memorable trips down to see them play the Rockies in Denver. Weston and Val are awesome! Luckily they haven't left us yet....
It has been one year exactly since we have made friends with the Pitt Family; Jorden, Kylee, and Urijah. We met them at a football game and invited them to go with us to the Linkin Park Concert since we had extra tickets. We did not think they would go with us, but thank goodness they did! (or who knows if we would be friends right now). It was crazy how quickly our friendship grew. Two weeks later they had Urijah, who was premature, and we just connected with each other pretty quickly between hospital visits and hang outs. Ever since we have been best friends with each other and we have spent a lot of time hanging out. Jorden also holds Super Smash Bros/ Mario Kart Tournaments that are a lot of fun... so we always bond over those as well.
Recently we have made friends with Kurtis and Jordan Suloff, Conner and Wendy Hunsaker, and Tyson and Mariah Woodford.... we have had a lot of great times with them; Softball, 4th of July campout, Wyoming Cowboy sports events, game nights, etc.. Hopefully we have even more adventures to come!!
We have SO many wonderful friends that we have met here in Laramie, and are so grateful for everything all of our friends do for us!
There are many other friends of ours that are not mentioned in this post. I apologize if you are not, but this would go on forever if I included everyone who has been a friend to us since we have lived here.
I promise I love you too!! <3
