Every year we try to make a trip down to Denver to watch the Braves play the Rockies. If you didn't already know, we are HUGE Braves Fans! This year we decided to invite our friends, Valerie and Weston, to go down with us. We were going to go to two games, one on Monday and one on Tuesday. As we were headed to the Monday game (going the Cheyenne way) Weston and Valerie's car broke down. We took it into a KIA shop in Cheyenne and waited two hours for them to get us a rental. By the time it was time to head down to Denver, Justin called to tell us that the game was postponed due to weather conditions. Luckily we were only in Cheyenne so it wasn't hard for us to head back home. Because the game on Monday was cancelled, that meant a double header on Tuesday. We got to Denver and it was FREEZING (like in the twenties). You would think since the games were in late April that the weather would be somewhat nice... HA!
The first game was during the day and hardly anyone was there so they taped off a certain area and let everyone sit wherever they wanted. Justin, Teri, John, and Carola were all there before us and had saved us front row seats.

The second game had twice as many people but we still somehow scored second row seats. After one of the innings Upton was running in and threw a ball towards Mark. The guy in front intervened and then it landed in John's Hands. He gave it to Mark since it was originally being thrown to him.
Braves won first game 4-3 and second game 10-2!
It was a great day for some baseball!!
Oh, and this was us on TV........ :)
(We all look super thrilled to be there...)
(Don't let the blue skies in this pic fool you)
(This is Val's favorite player Evan Gattis...)
And this is Freddie Freeman... my favorite player!!! The only thing better than getting to watch him play would be a hug from him ;)
